“We will still have champions, especially for the younger levels, but we have shifted our focus for the older players from winning a medal to getting exposure, thus are partnership with Balldawgs,” Stephens continued.

Bigfoot will also be asking coaches to identify players in advance to help create early exposure and attention.

BIGFOOT ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH BALLDAWGS:

Bigfoot basketball has entered into a partnership with Balldawgs to provide social media coverage for all spring and summer events in Las Vegas for 2024. With more than one million followers, Balldawgs is recognized as the hottest and most influential basketball social media site in America.  “Balldawgs is excited to work with Bigfoot, as they really are the heart of grassroots basketball.  This gives our followers a chance to find up and coming new players in a traditional club setting, not just the same videos of the same already elite players,” said Neal Carter, president of Balldawgs.  Balldawgs will be doing daily posts and recaps from every Bigfoot Las Vegas event in 2024.  The Balldawgs YouTube channel will also host live streaming from top games and playoffs.

Balldawgs just recently streamed the Big City Showdown game featuring Coronado(NV) vs. Bishop Gorman.  The event shattered viewership expectations.

Along with expanding social media reach and exposure, Bigfoot is announcing strategic alliances with some of the most influential and important basketball events in the country.

BIGFOOT WELCOMES SECTION 7 TO THE LAS VEGAS EASTER SHOWDOWN

The Bigfoot Easter Showdown, March 28th-30th, 2024 is excited to announce that Section 7 is coming.  The basketball committee from Section 7 will be on site in Las Vegas for the event.  Section 7 is the largest and most impactful scholastic live event in the country held every June in Glendale, Arizona at the Cardinals Stadium.

Section 7 will be looking to identify key players that are with their club teams and offer them a chance to bring their high school team to Arizona. “This is the opportunity we have been looking for to help blur the division between club and high school basketball,” said Section 7 director Matt King.  “Club coaches will be able to help out their high school counterparts by bringing players to this event.”  Once a player is selected, his or her high school team will be invited to participate in Section 7.  Last year more than 200 teams were on the waiting list to get in.

BIGFOOT WELCOMES THE BORDER LEAGUE TO LAS VEGAS LIVE, MAIN EVENT AND CLASSIC.

The Border League, known as the premier pre-season prep basketball event will be on hand this summer in Las Vegas, looking for players to invite their team to The Border League.  Held every October in Las Vegas, The Border League features 13 games on the ESPN Networks and the top teams and players from around the country.  “We work closely with Section 7 and when we heard what they were doing to help strengthen the bond between grassroots and scholastic basketball we wanted to participate.  We will be at all three summer events looking for players that deserve to be on our platform,” said Jeff Kaufman, director of The Border League

The summer basketball circuit has become so big that sometimes a diamond in the rough can be overlooked.  The best players are not always on the best known teams.  Bigfoot has hosted some of the best players in the game and this year wants to push it event further so that no “Diamond in the Rough,” goes undiscovered.

BIGFOOT ANNOUNCES ASSOCIATION WITH THE WOOTTEN 150

The Wootten 150 is the most exclusive evaluation camp in America.  Known as the precursor to the McDonalds game, the camp, created by the Wootten family has hosted more McDonalds All Americans, NBA Pros and 1st round draft picks than any other camp.  Both Joe and Terri Lynn Wootten along with six All American Committee members will be on hand at the Las Vegas Main event to watch and look for that “Diamond in the Rough.”  The group will also host a coaches meeting to explain the procedures and policies for nominating a McDonalds All American.
